Define the coated fabric and its purpose

PVC can be part of a coated textile or another specified construction; the name by itself does not describe every layer of a bag. Request the base fabric, coating arrangement, thickness or mass reference and finish for the proposed sample. Explain which properties matter to the product line, such as handling, appearance or the intended protection. Avoid comparing quotations that use different constructions under the same PVC label.

Review color, texture and branding together

A smooth surface, textured finish and transparent panel can create different production and artwork questions. Show the target color and explain which surface receives the logo. Review the method on the proposed material sample, then inspect the result on the finished bag. The actual workpiece photos on this site illustrate workshop activity; they do not establish the polymer composition of a photographed bag. Material identity must come from the agreed specification.

Choose the joining method for the proposed layers

The joining process needs to work with the actual layers, seam geometry and component arrangement. Discuss weldable areas and any sewn carrying or accessory parts separately. PVC is commonly used in radio-frequency welding, but a process name does not prove that every component or design can be joined successfully. Request a construction review and sample assessment before treating the proposed seam design as approved.

Separate material documents from bag evidence

A fabric document can describe a material batch or grade. It should not be presented as a test of the finished closure, seams or pockets unless its scope actually covers them. State the destination requirements and the claims intended for the product before sampling. Ask for the applicable reports, holder, model and test conditions. Do not add a blanket environmental, chemical-compliance or immersion claim from the PVC name alone.

Quote the accepted specification and variant mix

Include bag dimensions, quantity by color, logo, component choices and packing in the manufacturing inquiry. Identify which details are mandatory and which alternatives may be proposed. Compare the quotation against the approved sample and retain the material reference for reorders. If a coating, finish or component changes, ask how the change will be reviewed before bulk production. Production timing is confirmed once the material and design scope are understood.
